New hope for kids with rare, deadly brain cancer?
NCT ID NCT04655404
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a drug called larotrectinib in children and young adults (up to age 21) newly diagnosed with aggressive brain tumors that have a specific genetic feature called an NTRK fusion. The main goals are to see if the drug can control the tumor and to check its safety when given alone or with standard treatments like chemotherapy or radiation. The study will enroll about 15 participants.
