New stomach-surgery tool put to the test in small study

Summary
This study tests a large-diameter sizing and calibration device used during laparoscopic gastric surgery. Ten adults who are candidates for stomach surgery will have the device used during their operation. The main goal is to see if doctors can successfully insert, position, and use the device as intended.
