Robot vs. laparoscope: which pancreas surgery has fewer complications?

NCT ID NCT07338409

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to compare two modern surgical techniques for removing part of the pancreas. Researchers analyzed 126 patients who had either laparoscopic or robotic surgery at one hospital to see which method led to fewer complications and better recovery in the 90 days after surgery. The goal is to help doctors understand which minimally invasive approach might be safer and more effective for patients.
