First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a new keyhole surgery technique for women with advanced uterine and vaginal prolapse who wanted to keep their uterus. The procedure uses an inverted T-shaped mesh to support both the top of the vagina and the front wall in one operation. Researchers followed 67 participants for one year to see how well the repair held up and whether symptoms improved.
