Summary
This study tests a new, less invasive surgery for parastomal hernias—a common complication after a stoma (ostomy) is created. The procedure places a mesh outside the abdominal cavity to reduce complications and hernia return. Researchers will follow 50 adults for up to a year to see how safe and effective the technique is.
