NCT ID NCT06932016

First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 10, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study will test two different speech therapy approaches to help children aged 8-11 with developmental language disorder (DLD) better understand and use complex sentence structures, particularly passive sentences like 'The ball was thrown by the boy.' One method focuses on repeated listening and practice, while the other teaches specific grammar rules. Researchers will compare which approach leads to better and longer-lasting improvements in language skills.
