New injection tested to regrow hair in severe alopecia

NCT ID NCT07311564

Summary

This study is testing an investigational drug called LAD603 to see if it helps regrow hair in adults with severe to very severe alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss. About 136 participants will receive either LAD603 or a placebo injection to compare hair regrowth and safety. The main goal is to measure the change in scalp hair loss using a standard scoring tool.
