First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether lactoferrin, a protein found in milk, can improve pain control after a planned C-section. Ninety women will receive either lactoferrin or a placebo before and after surgery, along with standard pain medicine. The goal is to see if it lowers pain levels and the need for stronger painkillers, helping new moms recover more comfortably.
