First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving lactase enzyme supplements to very premature babies (born at or before 32 weeks) can prevent feeding intolerance. The goal is to reduce vomiting, abdominal swelling, and other feeding issues common in preterm newborns.
