First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a small wire called a laceback during braces treatment affects oral hygiene, wire problems, and pain. About 38 people getting braces will have laceback on one side of their mouth but not the other, so researchers can compare. Participants will keep up normal brushing and report any issues or pain.
