Simple tilt in bed could ease difficult births
NCT ID NCT01854450
Summary
This study tested if having a woman lie on her side in a specific tilted position helps turn a baby that is facing the wrong way during labor. It involved 326 women in labor whose babies were in a 'posterior' position (facing the mother's front). Researchers compared outcomes for women who used this side-lying position to those who did not, checking if it led to fewer C-sections or difficult deliveries.
