Labor pain drugs put to the test: which works best?
NCT ID NCT07440069
Summary
This study aims to find out which pain relief medicine works better for women in active labor: tramadol or paracetamol. Researchers will compare these drugs against a placebo (saltwater injection) in 300 first-time mothers to see which reduces pain most effectively and whether it affects how long labor lasts. The study will also check for any side effects for mothers and their babies.
