Study aims to take the itch out of labor pain relief
NCT ID NCT07187427
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to give fentanyl, a strong pain medication, to women during labor to minimize a common and bothersome side effect: itching. Researchers will compare giving the medication into the spinal fluid versus into the epidural space to see which causes less severe itching. The goal is to help women have more comfortable and effective pain relief during childbirth.
