Summary
This study looks at the best way to start labor for pregnant women whose water breaks before labor begins (term PROM) and whose cervix is not yet ready. Researchers are comparing two methods: a vaginal insert to soften the cervix followed by IV oxytocin, versus IV oxytocin alone. The goal is to see which approach leads to more vaginal births and fewer complications for mothers and babies.
