Race against the clock: which method gets baby here faster?
NCT ID NCT06803992
Summary
This study is comparing two different methods used to start labor in pregnant women whose bodies aren't quite ready for birth. Researchers want to see if using a slow-release hormone insert works better or faster than using a hormone gel combined with a small balloon catheter. They will measure how long it takes from starting the process until the baby is born, and track safety for both mother and baby.
