Which labor starter works faster? study compares two common methods

NCT ID NCT07416487

Summary

This study compared two common methods used to start labor in pregnant women who need help beginning delivery. Researchers wanted to see whether using a Foley catheter (a small balloon device) or misoprostol (a medication) resulted in faster time from induction to baby's birth. The trial included 76 pregnant women at term who needed labor induction, measuring how many hours it took from starting the method until delivery.
