First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares two vaginal medications—misoprostol and dinoprostone—for starting labor in 240 first-time mothers with a full-term pregnancy (40 weeks or more). The goal is to see which drug leads to more successful vaginal deliveries and how quickly labor starts. The trial also tracks safety for both mother and baby, such as bleeding and newborn intensive care needs.
