This study looked at how safe and effective a device called the Amplatzer Amulet is for closing a small pouch in the heart (left atrial appendage) in people with atrial fibrillation. The goal is to reduce the risk of stroke without needing lifelong blood thinners. The study included 104 adults in Southeast Asia who were at high risk for stroke.
