Summary
This study tested a device called the Amplatzer Amulet that closes a small pouch in the heart (left atrial appendage) in people with atrial fibrillation who are at high risk for stroke. The goal was to see if the device is safe and works well over time. 104 adults from Southeast Asia took part, and researchers checked for problems like device movement, blood clots, or leaks.
