New inhaled treatment tested for deadly lung pressure complication

NCT ID NCT07285655

Summary

This study is testing whether an inhaled medication called L606 can help people with high blood pressure in their lungs caused by lung scarring (interstitial lung disease). Researchers will measure if participants can walk farther and if the treatment delays worsening of their condition. About 344 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either L606 or a placebo, with everyone monitored closely for safety.
