Can a common supplement boost brain power in seniors?
NCT ID NCT07338682
Summary
This study is testing whether taking an L-Arginine supplement can help improve memory, focus, and other thinking skills in older adults who are experiencing mild to moderate cognitive decline. For four weeks, 60 participants will take either the supplement or a placebo (a look-alike with no active ingredient). Researchers will use standard memory and thinking tests to see if the supplement makes a difference and will also check for side effects and changes in quality of life.
