Summary
This study tested whether kudzu, an herbal supplement, can help people who binge drink reduce their alcohol use and related risky sexual behaviors. Researchers enrolled 120 sexually active adults who binge drink and are at high risk for HIV. Participants received either kudzu or a placebo, and researchers tracked their drinking days and urine alcohol levels.
