Kratom-Oxycodone interaction under the microscope
NCT ID NCT05846451
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether kratom, a plant-based product, changes how the body breaks down and responds to the opioid drug oxycodone. Sixteen healthy adults will take kratom tea, an oxycodone tablet, or both, and researchers will measure drug levels and effects like pupil size. The goal is to understand potential interactions, not to treat any disease.
