Summary

This study tested whether KPI-012 eye drops could safely help heal persistent corneal wounds that won't close on their own. About 103 people with these stubborn eye wounds, often caused by conditions like diabetes or severe dry eye, were enrolled. Participants received either the experimental drops or a placebo for 8 weeks to see if the treatment improved wound healing.
