First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called KP-001 affects the heart's electrical activity (QT interval) in 40 healthy adults. Participants received single doses of KP-001, a placebo, or moxifloxacin (a known heart-effect drug) in random order. The goal was to check for heart rhythm changes, not to treat any disease. Results help ensure the drug's safety before further testing.
