7-Year knee surgery device trial seeks to prove lasting stability
NCT ID NCT05264389
Summary
This study is following patients for up to 5 years after surgery to see how well two types of surgical tape work for repairing a key ligament that stabilizes the kneecap. It aims to confirm the long-term safety and effectiveness of these already-approved medical devices. The research will track 55 patients, aged 13 and older, who need this specific ligament reconstruction, checking their knee function, stability, and quality of life over time.
