Can a special tape fix a slipping kneecap? 5-Year study aims to find out

NCT ID NCT05264389

Summary

This study is checking the long-term safety and performance of a special surgical tape used to repair a key ligament that stabilizes the kneecap. It will follow 55 patients for up to 5 years after their surgery to see how well their knee functions, if the kneecap stays in place, and how satisfied they are with the results. The goal is to gather real-world data on how this approved medical device works for people over time.
