New study tests two ways to fix bowlegged knees
NCT ID NCT07220434
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods for correcting a bowlegged knee alignment caused by inner-knee arthritis. It will enroll 28 adults to see which technique—using an internal plate or an external brace-like device—leads to better knee alignment, less pain, and improved function over one year. The goal is to find the best way to control the disease and delay the need for a full knee replacement.
