New High-Tech sleeve aims to ease painful recovery from knee surgery

NCT ID NCT04751942

Summary

This study tested a new, non-compressive recovery sleeve against the standard compression stocking used after knee replacement surgery. Researchers wanted to see if the new sleeve was better at reducing post-surgery pain, swelling, and stiffness. About 23 patients who had a total knee replacement participated to help determine which garment might lead to a more comfortable and faster recovery.
