Surgeons test whether knee angle during surgery affects recovery

NCT ID NCT07451743

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques for repairing torn knee ligaments. Researchers want to know if fixing a specific ligament with the knee straight or slightly bent leads to better stability and fewer re-injuries. They'll follow 100 patients for at least two years after surgery to measure their recovery, knee stability, and fear of re-injury.
