Could your knee injection affect your eyes? study investigates

NCT ID NCT07242846

Summary

This study compared two common steroid injections for knee arthritis to see if they differently affect pressure inside the eye. Researchers measured eye pressure in 80 adults with early knee osteoarthritis before and one week after they received one of the injections as part of their standard care. The goal was to understand the risks and help doctors choose the safest treatment option for their patients.
