New implant aims to fix failed knee replacements

NCT ID NCT02521103

Summary

This study is evaluating a specialized knee implant system designed for patients who need a second knee replacement surgery because their first one failed. It will follow 145 patients for two years to see how well the new implant parts stay attached to the bone and to measure pain levels. The goal is to see if this system provides a more stable and less painful solution for complex knee revision surgeries.
