New injection technique could ease pain after knee surgery

NCT ID NCT07080892

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to reduce pain after knee replacement surgery. Researchers will compare two different injection sites for a nerve block that numbs the back of the knee without affecting leg movement. In a study with 120 patients, they will measure pain levels and painkiller use to see which injection method provides better relief and helps with recovery.
