First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people hear clicking or popping sounds after two different types of total knee replacement. About 170 adults getting a new knee will be randomly assigned to one of two implant designs. Researchers will ask patients about noise and discomfort two years after surgery to see if one type leads to less noise and better satisfaction.
