Knee replacement glue test: which holds better?
NCT ID NCT02525601
Summary
This study compares two ways to attach a specific knee replacement implant: using bone cement versus letting bone grow directly onto the implant. Researchers are tracking 60 patients with severe knee arthritis to see which method provides better long-term stability and reduces the risk of the implant becoming loose over time. The study measures implant movement, patient pain, and overall knee function to determine the best approach.
