Saline vs. steroid: which shot eases young Athletes' knee pain?

Summary

This study looks at two treatments for a specific type of front knee pain in teenage female athletes. One group gets a cortisone shot plus physical therapy, the other gets a saline (salt water) shot plus physical therapy. The goal is to see which approach better reduces pain and improves knee function and quality of life. The study is currently recruiting 62 participants aged 12-18.
