New study tests muscle release vs. special tape for Runner's knee

NCT ID NCT07290296

Summary

This study is comparing two different physical therapy approaches to see which works better for reducing knee pain and improving function in young adults with patellofemoral pain syndrome (often called 'runner's knee'). Researchers will test a hands-on muscle release technique against a special elastic taping method. The goal is to find out which approach better reduces pain, improves balance, and strengthens the thigh muscles during daily activities.
