New exercise technique aims to ease knee pain without heavy lifting
NCT ID NCT05484141
Summary
This study is testing a special exercise method called blood flow restriction to see if it can help people with minor kneecap instability. The method uses low-intensity exercises, which may be easier to tolerate than heavy workouts, to try to build leg muscle strength, reduce knee pain, and improve daily function. Researchers will enroll 34 adults with chronic knee pain to compare this new approach to standard exercises.
