Simple knee tests could replace costly scans for common pain
NCT ID NCT06971601
Summary
This study aims to find out if a set of simple physical examination tests can accurately diagnose a specific cause of front knee pain, known as infrapatellar fat pad impingement. Researchers will compare the results of these hands-on tests to MRI scans, which are the current standard for diagnosis. The goal is to validate quicker, more accessible diagnostic tools for doctors and physical therapists.
