First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study compares two surgical techniques to realign the knee in people with arthritis and bowleg deformity. One group gets a plate and screws for immediate correction, the other uses an external frame that gradually straightens the leg over time. Researchers will track bone alignment, knee function, and pain for one year in 28 adults.
