New knee shot could ease arthritis pain for veterans

Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a new anti-CD14 injection into the knee is safe and feasible for treating osteoarthritis pain. About 30 Veterans with knee osteoarthritis will receive either a low dose, high dose, or placebo injection. The goal is to gather initial safety data and see if this approach is worth studying further for pain relief.
