Can specialized training ease knee pain better than strength work?

NCT ID NCT07262931

Summary

This study aims to find out which type of exercise works better for people with early-stage knee osteoarthritis: sensory-motor training (focusing on balance and coordination) or traditional resistance training (focusing on muscle strength). It will involve 52 adults aged 40-60 in Pakistan who have not exercised recently. Researchers will measure changes in pain, balance, and ability to do daily activities to see which program provides more relief and functional improvement.
