Donated fat tissue tested as new shot for arthritic knee pain

NCT ID NCT06828666

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new injection called BRC-OA, made from processed donated fat tissue, to see if it can safely reduce pain in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will give different doses to about 42 participants who have not gotten enough relief from standard pain medications. The main goal is to check for safety and see if the injection helps lower pain scores over six months compared to a placebo saline shot.
