One-Shot gene therapy tested for chronic knee pain

NCT ID NCT06884865

Summary

This study is testing a single injection of an investigational gene therapy called PCRX-201 for people with painful knee osteoarthritis. The main goal is to see if different doses are safe and well-tolerated over one year, while also exploring if the treatment can reduce knee pain and improve joint function. Researchers will compare the gene therapy against a placebo injection in about 135 participants aged 45 to 80.
