Summary

This study tested whether a single injection of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (CL-HA) works better than two injections of straight-chain hyaluronic acid (ST-HA) for knee osteoarthritis. It included 88 recreational athletes aged 50-70 with moderate knee OA. Researchers measured pain, stiffness, and joint function over 6 months using standard scores.
