Knee surgery showdown: donor tissue vs Patient's own tissue
NCT ID NCT03932838
Summary
This study compares two approaches for reconstructing multiple torn knee ligaments in a single surgery. Researchers are measuring how well knees recover when using donor tissue (allograft) versus the patient's own tissue (autograft). They're tracking 80 adults who've had this surgery to see which approach leads to better knee stability and function during recovery.
