First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at how well antibiotics work in the knee joint after surgery for a knee replacement infection. Researchers will use a small probe to measure antibiotic levels in the joint fluid during the hospital stay. The goal is to understand how these levels relate to preventing the infection from coming back. About 30 adults having two-stage knee revision surgery will take part.
