Simple home exercises ease stubborn knee pain in active women

Summary
This study tested two types of exercise programs in 45 women aged 20-40 with patellofemoral pain syndrome (front knee pain). Both groups did knee strengthening plus either hip or ankle exercises, all supervised via telehealth for 8 weeks. The result: both programs significantly reduced pain and improved movement, with no clear winner between the two.
