Squat study reveals gender differences in knee stability
NCT ID NCT07262996
Summary
This study aimed to understand how knee and foot alignment differs between sedentary men and women during a single-leg squat, a common movement in daily life and sports. Researchers measured 70 healthy young adults to see if poor alignment could increase the risk of knee injuries. The goal was to gather knowledge to help design better injury prevention programs in the future.
