Metronome may boost knee recovery after ACL surgery
NCT ID NCT06662955
First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at whether doing a specific knee exercise with a metronome (a device that makes a steady beat) can improve how the thigh muscle works in athletes who recently had ACL knee surgery. 40 participants will do one session of the exercise, and researchers will measure muscle signals to see if the metronome helps. The goal is to find better ways to retrain muscles early in recovery.
